Muller Light Apple Crumble & Custard Yogurt review

Muller light yogurts are very rarely my yogurt of choice because I find that they are usually very runny and thin. Nevertheless, I liked the sound of an apple crumble flavoured yogurt since it's slightly more unusual than a typical strawberry or vanilla yogurt. I was also intrigued to see how the "crumble" element would come across in this low fat yogurt form.

When I lifted the lid I saw a slightly yellow coloured yogurt which as expected looked very runny. I took a spoonful and didn't really know what to think. The overall flavour was prominently the custard with a sight apple-y tang. As I feared, there wasn't really much of a crumble element and the resulting flavour ended up being slightly bland.

I can't say that I would buy this again and seeing as I usually love apple flavoured yogurts I was very disappointed. This was a boring and slightly strange tasting yogurt with a thin consistency. It also had the artificial taste of sweetener which a lot of Muller light yogurts do. I had quite high hopes for this product but it ended up falling flat. I am glad that this is only a limited edition flavour and hopefully it will be replaced with a more interesting alternative.
