Costa UK Toasted Marshmallow Latte review

The Christmas coffee's are here! One of my favourite things about this time of year is all the unusual coffee's and snacks that start appearing and I decided trying the toasted marshmallow syrup from Costa was as good as place as any to start working through them. The barista who served me was exceptionally lovely and even suggested that I smell the syrup before I tasted it because she loved the smell. It smelt sweet and exactly like a toasted marshmallow which surprised me since this is such a specific smell!

When the latte was made a took a sip after giving it a good stir. I cant say that the exact flavour of a toasted marshmallow which was prominent in the smell came across as strongly in the taste but it certainly made it a lot sweeter and for anyone with a sweet tooth like mine, that can only be a good thing! The more I drank it the more the flavour came across and it was a tasty latte. This isn't the most exciting latte that I have ever had but it does make a nice change to try something new and it would definitely meet my cravings for something hot and sweet it the chilly winter months.
