Costa Almond Croissont review

I love almond croissants but have never tasted this version from Costa, mainly because every time I have wanted one, they have been sold out. This is why when I saw them in stock I had to try one! If I'm completely honest I was slightly disappointed.

The pastry wasn't quite as crisp as a fresh croissant should be, it was a lot softer almost like a pre-packaged one that could be bought from a supermarket. The almond filling was tasty but very thick and there wasn't much of it. This probably wasn't as bad as it sounds as I finished it and wouldn't refuse to have it again but there are much better versions around that I would certainly favour over these.
