Propercorn Smooth Penut & Almond review.

Having previously enjoyed the other varieties from the Propercorn range, I was really excited to see this peanut and almond version. I have only ever seen this is large bags but recently it has been appearing on shelves in the individual sized bags so they are handy to grab on the go.

The main reason that I have been so impressed with the Propercorn range is because they seem to have a better crunch than most store bought popcorns which often taste quite chewy and this flavour was no different. Although not as crispy as the more savoury versions that I have tried, the popcorn maintained a fair crunch and there were no un-popped kernels like you can often nearly break your teeth on at the bottom of the bag.

The popcorn had a lovely looking brown coating and there was a good salty, peanut-ty taste. It certainly tasted "smooth" as the name suggests in that it reminded me a little of peanut butter with a slight sweetness. Although I couldn't really detect much almond flavour I cant honestly say that I missed it too much because the salty peanut butter flavour was delicious enough. This was another very impressive product from the Propercorn range and I can highly recommend it to any peanut butter lovers.
