Kit Kat Toffee Treat review

Kit Kat is a staple in practically every British home but in all honesty its a snack that I find quite boring and so usually avoid. With all of the new varieties of Kit Kat on shelves recently I decided it was worth a try to pick up one if the newer flavours. I love toffee and caramac and so finally decided that if any of the newer versions were going to convert me, then this toffee treat version would be it.

The wrapper states that each serving contains only 108 calories so this could also e a good choice if your trying to find an alternative to your usual chocolate bar. I peeled back the infamous foil wrapper and saw that the Kit Kat had the usual milk chocolate bottom half but a toffee top half which did resemble caramac in appearance. It had the usual crisp, sweet wafer inside but I expected nothing less.

I bit in and couldn't really detect a strong toffee flavour but it was noticeably sweeter than the original version. The more of this Kit Kat I ate the more I enjoyed it and the smooth sweet toffee flavour became more prominent. I defiantly prefer the toffee treat version to the plain milk chocolate kit kat and think I may actually pick these up again. In fact, I am now tempted to try some of the other versions that are available so I think I have been won over by this treat.
