The chocolate smelt very sweet and I could see that there were plenty of biscuit pieces and chocolate chunks throughout. There was a small circle where the fillings were exposed which was surrounded by dark chocolate. I broke the egg and it revealed that the chocolate was very thick especially under the dark chocolate.

Chokablok American Dreamcake Titchy Easter Egg review
Easter is only next weekend so I decided that it was close enough to crack open my first Easter egg. Chokablok is a range of chocolate that I have only ever seen available at Tesco. I decided to try the American Dreamcake Egg which is a white chocolate egg with white chocolate coated biscuits, brownie chunks, chocolate fudge pieces and chocolate chunks. This was the titchy version so it was only 95grams which meant that I didn't feel any guilt in demolishing it in one sitting.

It tasted delicious but you would certainly need a very sweet tooth (like myself) to eat a lot of it. The dark chocolate area and chunks throughout did make this a lot easier to eat however as I really appreciated the sharpness against the rich white chocolate. The crunchy biscuit and chewy fudge pieces throughout stood out against the smooth texture and it felt like a real treat getting all of this in one egg, especially one so small!
I can highly recommend this Easter egg and am really impressed with the quality of this chocolate. The fact that this egg is available in a variety of sizes means that you have the option to really indulge or be (a little bit) sensible. I feel the need to try the rest of the Chokablok range after tasting this egg so would suggest anyone tempted by this product grab it while it's available.
