Costa Italian Salami & Mozzarella Toasted Focaccia Flatbread review

I haven't tasted any of the Focaccia flatbreads from costa before but I love the sound of salami and mozzarella together. The bread was topped with a rosemary and there was also rocket inside the sandwich which cant be seen in the picture as I took it out before hand because I personally don't like the taste.

 

 

Once I had removed the rocket I really enjoyed the focaccia. There was some sort of pesto beneath the mozzarella which I wasn't expecting and was a delicious addition the sandwich. There was a fair amount of salami which had the usual heat that you would expect however I was slightly disappointed at the amount of mozzarella as there was practically non on one side of the sandwich. Overall I would probably have this again, it is definitely not my favourite from Costa's lunch range but I did enjoy it and the addition of the mozzarella was a lovely surprise.
